Paul E. Levy, DMD


Dr. Levy graduated with honors from the Tufts School of Dental Medicine. After college he completed his Oral Surgery Residency at the Massachusetts General Hospital, where he also received training in general surgery, medicine, anesthesia, and other related disciplines. In order to better serve you as a patient who can benefit from his training and experience, oral surgeons receive both dental and medical education.

Dr. Levy also served part of his residency at other Harvard affiliated institutions. He served in the Plastic Surgery departments at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Children’s Hospital in Boston, concentrating on Craniofacial Reconstruction. In addition, Dr. Levy held an appointment as a clinical instructor at the Harvard University Dental School.

Dr. Levy is a fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is a fellow of the American Society of Dental Anesthesiology, having successfully passed the Society’s rigorous examination.


What Is Board Certified?
Dr. Levy has been board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. This certification is given only after passing a rigorous examination, consisting of demonstrated experience, a written examination, and a series of oral examinations before national leaders in the field. Dr. Levy achieved his Board Certification on his first attempt in each of these parts.
