
Dr. Levy graduated with honors from the Tufts School of Dental Medicine. After professional school, he completed oral surgery residency at Massachusetts General Hospital where he also received training in general surgery, medicine, anesthesia, and other related disciplines. In order to better care for you, oral surgeons receive both dental and medical education.
Dr. Levy served part of his residency at other Harvard teaching hospitals. He served in the Plastic Surgery departments at the Brigham and Women's Hospital and the Children’s Hospital in Boston, concentrating on craniofacial reconstruction. In addition, Dr. Levy held an appointment as a clinical instructor at the Harvard University School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Levy is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is a Fellow of the American Society of Dental Anesthesiology, having successfully passed the Society’s rigorous examination.
Dr. Levy is married with two children. In his "spare time," some of his passions are chess, kayaking, working out to stay fit, reading ancient history and running with the family's German Shepherds.
Dr. Levy has been Board Certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. This certification is given only after passing a rigorous examination consisting of demonstrated experience, a written examination, and a series of oral tests before national leaders in the field. Dr. Levy achieved his Board Certification on his first attempt.
