Repairing facial injuries and fractures is an important part of the specialty of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and most people know that Oral Surgeons repair broken jaws. Dr. Levy also repairs fractures of the upper jaw (the "maxilla") and the cheek bone ("zygoma").
Dr. Levy also repairs many types of complex facial lacerations. This is one reason that he spent six months of his surgical Residency as a member of the Plastic Surgery Department of the Brigham and Women's Hospital, and the Children's Hospital in Boston.
Some facial injuries can be treated in our office/Surgi-Center. More complicated ones may require that Dr. Levy treat you at the hospital.
Dr. Levy hopes that you won’t need this part of his training and experience. He is, however, there to help you, should accident strike.
